Wie bereits angekündigt, möchten wir Sie in dieser Ausgabe über die FCC-Funkzulassung (FCC = Federal Communications Commission) unserer Advanced-Geräte in den USA und Kanada informieren.

Seit neuestem ist es möglich die Advanced-Geräte der Galaxis Funkzündanlage in den USA und Kanada betreiben zu dürfen. Natürlich haben wir dafür gesorgt, daß die Systeme auch dort nur auf den optimalsten Frequenzen arbeiten, welche in diesem Fall zwischen 300 und 400 MHz liegen.

Anlagen, die für USA und/oder Kanada bestimmt sind, werden mit anderen Funkkomponenten ausgestattet. Wir unterstützen unsere Kunden beim Import und stellen den Kontakt zu fachkundigen Frequenz-Koordinatoren her, welche die Frequenznutzung beantragen. Die zur Verfügung gestellten Funkkanäle dürfen im gesamten Bundesgebiet der USA verwendet werden.

Für Kanada muß die Frequenznutzung ebenfalls beantragt werden, wobei wir Sie gerne dabei unterstützen.
Wenn Sie als europäischer Kunde Ihr System in den USA und/oder Kanada vorübergehend nutzen möchten, ist das meistens ebenfalls möglich. Bitte kontaktieren Sie uns in so einem Fall, wir beraten Sie gerne.



As announced we would like to inform you in this issue about the FCC wireless approval (FCC = Federal Communications Commission) of our Advanced devices in USA and Canada. Recently it this approval has been granted. We achieved that the best frequencies, allocated in the range from 300 to 400 MHz, can be used there.

Devices that are exported to USA or Canada will be equipped with a different radio module. We will support our customers doing the import and we can recommend competent frequency coordinators. They will provide the service of frequency allocation in cooperation with the FCC. The available radio channels can be used nationwide in the US.

The frequency allocation for the usage in Canada can be applied as well. We can support our customers also in this matter.

If you want to operate your European version of the system in the USA or Canada temporarily this is possible in most cases. Please contact us so that we can inform you about the detailed procedure.

Deshalb möchten wir Sie sehr herzlich einladen, das ISF in zu besuchen.
Neben zahlreichen Vorträgen, Präsentationen und Diskussionsforen findet dort auch eine Messe statt, 'Trade Show' genannt. Dort werden wir ausstellen und allen Besuchern für interessante Fachgespräche zur Verfügung stehen.

Die Trade Show ist üblicherweise für jedermann ohne Eintritt zugänglich. Um den Vorträgen und anderen Aktivitäten des Symposiums beizuwohnen ist eine kostenpflichtige Registrierung erforderlich, welche diverse Mittagessen und die 'Symposium Proceedings' etc. beinhaltet. Die Präsentationen werden in Englisch vorgetragen oder ins Englische simultan übersetzt.

The ISF will be held in Porto/Portugal from October 11th to 15th 2010. The local company Luso Pirotecnia will be hosting the Symposium. The ISF is the world class meeting point for all pyrotechnicians who are working on an international basis.

Due to that we are inviting you cordially to attend the ISF. Besides numerous speeches, presentations and discussions a trade show is adjoined to the ISF. We will have a booth there and will be available for all visitors for interesting expert talk and explanation of technical details.

The trade show is normally open for all visitors (entrance free). To attend the presentations and other activities throughout the Symposium it is necessary to register. The registration fees include several meals and the Symposium proceedings etc. All presentations will be in English language or a simultaneous translation to English will be available.
